It is truly a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I have proudly held the title of Graduate Gemologist and have dedicated over 20 years of my professional life to the jewelry industry. With esteemed credentials from the Gemological Institute of America, the American Gem Society, and several other reputable organizations, I am well-equipped to provide you with the precise information you seek. My story
As a child growing up in Iowa, I could always be found searching for some kind of shiny, sparkling rock. As I grew up, this naturally led me to be interested in gemology and I made the choice to move across the country to enroll at the Gemological Institute of America (G.I.A.). After obtaining my Graduate Gemology diploma I continued to study and learn, taking courses on jewelry design and manufacturing and working with many different companies within the jewelry industry. Soon I will obtain my certified gemologist designation from the American Gem Society, and I am currently a member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers.
